Yes, we are still alive ;-)
Since I last posted, Mason and Harper both had birthdays. I can hardly believe that they are five and two. Mason is so smart. He just seems to know so much now. He is very excited about going to kindergarten. I have no doubt that he is prepared but I on the other hand am not. I just cringe at the thought of him being with other people from 8 - 3, five days a week. Harper is starting kids day out on Mon. and Thur. in the fall. I don't know what I will do with myself, I have not been without at least one kid in over 2 years. It is going to be a major adjustment because Harper is very clingy. I don't leave him because I have not been able to. He is very comfortable with the place he will be going because Mason has been there since Harper was born. He walks around like he owns the place. Both boys will go there for 7 weeks this summer on Thursdays. It will be a good time to test the waters and get him comfortable with me leaving him.
Tyler has moved back out on his own. It was hard for him to come back home and follow our rules after living on his own for so long. We still talk often and he is still trying to decide what he wants to do with his life.
In March I signed up with Pampered Chef. I am now a consultant and I really like it. I have wanted to do this since before Mason was born but the time just never seemed right. I finally decide to just go for it and I am so glad I did. My goal is to do between 5 and 7 shows a month. Right now I am at about 4 a month. I was giddy when I got my first paycheck. The money is just a fringe benefit to me, I really just wanted a way to have adult interaction and get free and discounted Pampered Chef products. A lot of my friends have stepped up to help me get started and I really appreciate them. Even some of the out-of-towners have done catalog shows. I have meet a lot of cool new people and made some great new friends. I highly recommend PC to anyone wanting to make some extra money or like me just want an evening without children! Send me a comment if you want my website info, you can order directly from the site!
